We are back on the island and busy as all get out! It's been crazy getting settled, getting over jet-lagged and getting into our routines. We have learned Korea's secret...mold. We arrived after a good 26 hours of travel and were driven to our new apartment. As we entered, we saw mold spots under our wallpaper and there were many. I know! You're asking yourself, who in the world uses wallpaper? Koreans. It is such a popular thing here. Anyway, every single wall had mold spots. On top of that, I went to pick up our car, and the stick shift had turned into a mushroom of mold. Just awesome! We are making it though-had the car washed, many things dry-cleaned, and we had to stay in a student sized dorm room the size of a cargo container...with bunk beds. I ask you, when was the last time you slept in a bunk bed?
After 2 weeks, we are finally back in our apartment and things are running a mile a minute, as you can probably tell from the lack of blogs since...um...last year! Crazy how time flies.
Leigh Anne is doing fine. She is over her morning sickness. She does get tired very easily, but everyone is healthy. Our baby girl is just a-kickin away! As the days go by, the anticipation in meeting her and seeing what her personality will be like is rises as each day goes by.
I'm figuring things out with the Athletic Director job. I've already been to Seoul twice for A.D. meetings. Things have been super fun though, getting the chance to build a whole Athletic program from scratch. We have already been successful in some events like Middle School Soccer and Cross Country. Never dreamed of being in this position, but wouldn't change it for the world.
I know you've been waiting for some pics, so here they are...
